About Brooke

“People start to heal the moment they feel heard.” - C.R.

Brooke is a client-centered therapist who believes healing happens through connection, compassion, and sometimes even a little humor. She sees every client as the expert of their own story and draws from their strengths to help guide the therapeutic journey. With a flexible, evidence-based approach, Brooke tailors each session to fit the unique needs of the individual sitting across from her.

Clients often describe Brooke as compassionate, intentional, and just the right amount of spunk. She believes a good laugh and a good cry can go hand in hand—and that both can be powerful medicine towards healing.

Brooke has worked with adolescents, young adults, parents, and families across a wide range of settings. She holds a special place in her heart for working with youth and families impacted by the criminal justice system, including her work with JJS, DCFS, Utah Youth Village, and NOJOS. She’s experienced in helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, OCD/scrupulosity, grief and loss, family conflict, and self-worth challenges.

Her therapeutic toolkit includes:
• ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy): A trauma focused approach that gently processes and transforms distressing memories -- "Keep the knowledge, lose the pain".

• CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Exploring how our thoughts shape our feelings and actions.
• DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy): Learning skills to manage emotions and hold space for life’s opposing truths.
• ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Helping clients live a values-based life through acceptance and intentional action.
• IFS (Internal Family Systems): Understanding and honoring the many different “parts” of ourselves—because there are no bad parts.

Brooke completed her education “Where the Sagebrush Grows”, attending Utah State University. As an Aggie she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work and Child Development and went on to complete her Master of Social Work degree.

When she’s not in session, you can find Brooke camping with her husband and two dogs, perusing the aisles of TJ Maxx with a sweet treat in hand, or curled up with a good book. She’s a loyal Law & Crime watcher and hasn’t missed an episode—ever.
