Individual Therapy
One on one support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life's challenges and more.
Course Counseling offers individual therapy for clients of all ages, with in person appointments in Spanish Fork and telehealth available statewide. Meeting one on one with a therapist gives you a dedicated space to focus on your mental health and personal growth, working collaboratively toward goals that matter to you.

Ways We Support Individuals
Our therapists use evidence based approaches tailored to what you're working through and your specific goals. We support individuals in:
-
Managing anxiety, depression, and overwhelming emotions
-
Working through trauma and difficult past experiences
-
Navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions
-
Building confidence and a stronger sense of self
-
Developing healthy coping skills and communication habits
-
Making meaningful, lasting personal growth
Sessions are collaborative and grounded in approaches like EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, and IFS, chosen based on what fits your goals.
What to Expect:
Your first session is about getting to know what's bringing you to therapy and setting goals together. Your therapist will ask about your background, what you're hoping to work through, and what has or hasn't helped in the past, so the approach they use actually fits your situation.
From there, sessions typically run about 50 minutes, usually weekly or every other week, either in person or by telehealth, whichever fits your life best. Therapy is a process you and your therapist navigate together. You are always the expert on your own experience, and your therapist brings training and tools to support the changes you are working toward.
As sessions continue, your therapist will check in with you regularly to make sure the pace and approach still feel right, adjusting as needed.
